Ruchi is a Project Management Professional, with over 23 years of extensive experience in Oil and Gas, both upstream and downstream.
She has a bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation and Control, and an MBA in International Business and Finance.
She started her career in greenfield with hands on experience on Reformers in Refineries. and has worked in different roles – from Instrument Engineer, through various Project Engineer roles up to Delivery Manager.
9 years as Controls and Instrument Engineer – handling a wide range of packages and upgrades for LNG, Oil Sands, Tank farm, and FPSO projects.
Over last 14 years successfully project managed various topsides and downstream projects including Subsea Tie Backs, Flowlines, Power Generation, Drilling packages, Caissons, and Accommodation/Welfare modules.
A supporter of Lean Engineering and continuous process improvements within Supply Chain and Project Management utilizing SIX SIGMA processes to increase efficiency and reduce errors. A supporter of Lean Engineering, Teamwork, Lessons Learned and continuous learning.
She believes in order to successfully lead a team in any industry – technical, financial and planning knowledge of that industry is critical. Over the years she has mentored a number of graduate engineers starting their project engineering journey and looks forward to coaching more early career project professionals as part of her association with Cranston Engineering.
